BIM Team Lead – Data Centre – Finland

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced BIM Team Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Vaasa, Finland.

Responsibilities

•   Lead Multidisciplinary BIM Coordination
Drive the full MEP coordination process across design and construction stages, ensuring clash-free models, consistent standards, and seamless integration with architectural and CSA teams.
•   Manage BIM Delivery & Model Quality
Oversee model production from internal and external teams, enforcing BIM Execution Plans, validating LOD requirements, and guaranteeing that all outputs meet project-specific quality and compliance standards.
•   Provide Technical Guidance to the BIM/MEP Team
Mentor modellers and coordinators, resolve complex technical issues, and act as the key escalation point for MEP-related BIM challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
•   Interface with Project Stakeholders
Collaborate closely with project managers, discipline leads, subcontractors, and design partners to maintain alignment on model progress, programme milestones, coordination priorities, and change management.
•   Support Digital Construction & Workflow Optimisation
Champion continuous improvement by developing workflows, implementing new BIM tools, and promoting best practices that enhance efficiency, model accuracy, and overall project delivery.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or similar
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects
Must come from an MEP Background
